Mental Traits:
A trained soldier he has the mental capabilities of hiding almost all levels of pain. Being able to push himself and even continue fighting beyond lethal damage. Yet, Thane is rather uncomfortable with dealing with emotional or mental damage. Hiding behind a joke or lie at times to blanket over most unpleasantness that he may be suffering from.
Thane has a tendency to latch on to someone and be overly open with them, if he feels he can trust them. Yet, he fears he will be alone for the rest of his life. Suffering from trust issues, Thane wears a mask he shows the world most of the time.
Personality:
Thane at times can be rather serious or stoic, but more often than not he slips into a more flirtatious nature, especially when it comes to dealing with the opposite sex or somone he finds intresting. Fiercely devoted to those he names as comrades, even if they are only comrades in his mind. Thane has been known for being a bit of a nomad, never staying too long to one location; because of this he never truly allies himself with any large group or organization permanently. Preferring to stay near to inns and taverns, not to mingle directly, but to seek isolated company.
Abilities, Strengths and Weaknesses:
Jack of all trades when it comes to martial abilities. Having an extensive past being part of a special operations group. Thane was extensively trained in the use of any weapon, including his own hands to deadly precision.
Very little control or focus of Aether. While Aether with the use of martial talents come rather natural to him; the concentrated focusing of aether into magic is very difficult, hence he does not have much of a skill for it.
Protector at heart. Thane’s nature doesn’t allow him to witness the weak struggle. Having on more then a few occasions risked his own skin to protect someone of no connection to him. While he is victorious in most of these heroic efforts, he has also known his fair share of defeat. Suffering the beating or mauling every so often.
